Mumma's Little Helpers Food Catcher

Starting solids or baby led weaning just became much easier...

As I watched my baby throw yet another piece of sticky banana onto the floor, I sighed internally. Cleaning the high chair and wiping down the floor was something I did up to six times a day. The amount of mess that an adorable 9 month old can make is mind boggling.

Fast forward three years and I've had another child and I've invested in a Mumma's Little Helpers Food Catcher. And it has been an absolute game changer.

My first born loving the food catcher...

Now my second born is using it.

The food catcher attaches to any high chair and does just what the name suggests. It catches the food that your child drops. You can scoop it out and give it back to them if they are still eating, or wipe it away easily at the end of the meal and leave your floors completely clean. I love it more than words can say. Even more than I love my husband. Almost.

It just makes life easy! I have had mine for three years now and I literally wipe everything from the high chair into the food catcher, then scoop it out with a paper towel and give it a quick spray after each meal. Then once or twice a week I chuck it into the wash for a good wash. My floors are clean, my back is less sore and I no longer find bits of toast wedged under the rug at random intervals throughout the day.

The food catchers come in a variety of cute patterns and colours and range between $60-$70 depending on the size. It's more expensive than a messy mat, but because it attaches to the high chair, it can be moved much easier depending on where you sit. I've used mine multiple times a day for 3 years so can absolutely attest to the superior quality of the product. It's also the brain child of a mum so you'll be supporting a small business.

Mumma's Little Helper Food Catchers are waterproof, wipeable and machine washable. They also have other products on their website which look great, such as tipper toy mats and crumb catchers.
I highly recommend one of these food catchers if you are doing baby led weaning or just can't stand the mess any longer!

What other game changing products have you used that other mums don't know about? Please let us know so we can share with the group!
